One of the things I didn't do much of during tax season was watch network TV. I just didn't have the time or patience for it, plus it all pretty much sucked considering the Writer's Strike. Most things were reruns anyway.
So, tonight I was looking forward to watching a brand new episode of CSI, the first for me in a long, long time. So much for the making plans....
Bad weather struck, and the entire hour was spent on weather warnings. We got to see maybe a minute of the episode. Okay, I guess I can understand the need for weather warnings, but one thing that was said kinda upset me a bit.
One of the storm chasers said something like this regarding the location of the storm system and tornado: "there ain't nothing out here except oil leases and cows". So, who are all these warnings and hour long discussions of storm paths, etc. for? I really don't think the cows are in the barn watching TV worried about where the tornado is headed.
Most cows I know don't watch TV. It's a cultural thing...
I want my CSI!!!!
